A Taste Of Some Of The Communities I Serve

 

We all yearn for our own slice of community and as your real estate professional, I will strive to help you find your perfect match! Although my hometown of over 20 years is Superior, Colorado, I have helped many clients up and down the front range and occasionally in the mountains.

It is important to me that you not only find the perfect house, but that you also find the community that has the amenities you want and is close to where you want to be, whether that is close to your job, family, friends or even school. I want you to fall in love with the surrounding lifestyle. Each community I work within offers something unique, so I am excited to hear about what community means to you and what you are specifically looking for. Some of the communities I have spent a great deal of time in are highlighted here:

 

Boulder

Boulder, an outdoor enthusiast’s mecca and college town, was voted year after year, the most fitness-friendly city in America by SmartAsset. It was named one of the top 20 Tech Towns in 2018 by CompTIA and came in #1 with the Greenest City Award by Insurify in 2018. There is a lot to enjoy in the way of outdoor activities in Boulder with mountain and road biking, hiking and trail running, to name a few. Boulder also offers easy and quick access to many mountain sports like skiing, boarding, snowshoeing, etc.. Boulder is also famous for its annual Bolder Boulder, the second largest 10K race in the United States. Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall is a downtown pedestrian mall featuring art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and boutiques. Walking along the cobblestone street, you will find street entertainers singing, performing magic or other fun entertainments. Chautauqua Park is also located in the city of Boulder and is a huge park with great hiking as well as a home for great musical and cultural events. Boulder is also the home of the University of Colorado, Boulder campus and the CU Buffs--college football is very popular here. Boulder has a huge variety of dining experiences from luxury dining choices. The average house price is over 1 million in the city of Boulder and there is a good mix of older homes as well as newer built options. Whether you are looking for a condo, townhome, or a luxury home, you can find it here in Boulder!

 

Superior

Superior, named #2 best suburb to live in Colorado by Niche in 2019 and Money Magazine’s #49 in the country also in 2019, started as  small mining town and was carefully architected into a well-planned community with a good balance of homes with lots of open spaces, bike paths, ponds, trails, as well as a dog and skate park. Located just south of the Denver Boulder Turnpike, Superior has great access to Boulder, Denver and the Denver International Airport. It is also ideally situated within a couple of miles from FlatIrons Mall and has a Costco, Target and Whole Foods in town. The HOA and Town of Superior host a number of events to promote a sense of community with annual events such as movies in the park or the annual parade and food truck event on Independence Day. Housing in Superior can be broken up into three segments. Luxury housing can be found in Calmante's townhomes and single family homes, Waterford in Rock Creek's gated community, Rock Creek and the new homes popping up along McCaslin close to the new town center and in Original Town. Mid-range homes can be found in Rock Creek, Superior Downtown and Original Town and the paired homes in the Lanterns Community in Rock Creek. Entry level homes can be found in the townhomes and condos in Superior as well as some of the single family homes in Rock Creek, the Ridge at Rock Creek, and the town homes in Original Town.

 

Louisville

Money magazine has consistently ranked Louisville, CO as one of the best places to live in America! Loved for its bike-ability to charming downtown, Louisville’s Main Street is lined with craft coffee shops, quaint boutiques, micro breweries and restaurants. Louisville hosts parades, a farmer’s market, art walks, and music festivals in the Old Downtown area. Located just north of the Denver Boulder Turnpike, Louisville offers easy access to both Boulder, Denver as well as the Denver International Airport. The old historic town is a mix of old mining town cottages and newly-built homes on smaller lots as well as luxury townhomes in DELO that provide luxury living within walking distance to Main Street. The farther you get from the quaint downtown, you will find a wider range of home styles as well as larger lots, a golf course and a more suburban feel with plenty of parks and open spaces.

 

Lafayette 

Rated A+ by Niche and top 5 Best Places for Young Families in Colorado by NerdWallet, Lafayette has a vibrant downtown along South Public Road which has an eclectic variety of restaurants, coffee shops, distilleries, micro-breweries, a quaint flea market, pubs, and even a place to let dogs play while enjoying a beer! Lafayette’s Peach Festival and Oatmeal Festival as well as its Farmer’s Market brings a great sense of togetherness to this community. Lafayette’s Waneka Lake, a tree-dotted park with a small lake, offers paddle boats, fishing & trails for bird-watching & jogs is a great place to enjoy outdoor activities. Lafayette has a wide variety of home choices including lakefront properties, farmland, historical mining homes located in downtown as well as new homes which are being built in the area. In Indian Peaks, you will find the full spectrum of housing from townhomes to luxury homes and White Hawk Ranch, which borders open space, offers spectacular, sweeping mountain views. If you are looking for small town amenities, the homes in and around South Public Road could be what you are looking for.

 

Broomfield

Broomfield – With an A rating from Niche, Broomfield has been named as one of the best places to live in America in 2019! With Flatiron Crossing Mall, the Paul Derda Recreation Center, Broomfield Bay, and The Omni Interlocken Resort Golf Club, you will find many ways to enjoy indoor and outdoor  activities. Broomfield has a wide variety of neighborhoods to discover, from the suburban mecca of Anthem with its state of the art Community Center to the urban setting of Arista, there is something for everyone here. As you will find in most of the neighborhoods along the front range, parks, open spaces, bike and walking paths abound. Also located in Broomfield are two two 55+ communities, Anthem Ranch and Skyestone, that have community centers, community directors and a multitude of events to enjoy an active lifestyle.

 

Erie

Situated close to Boulder and Denver, Erie is located on the plains just west of Interstate 25 and enjoys sweeping views of the Front Range. Erie was named the #1 Best Place to Raise a Family in 2017 by elitepersonalfinance.com and rests on the county line of Boulder and Weld county. Erie is famous for its annual Erie Biscuit Day held every September! Historic Old Town Erie runs along Briggs Street and offers a number of delightful restaurants. Erie has experienced a lot of growth in homes recently and is continuing that trend with many builders and a wide choice of properties from patio homes with low maintenance to luxury homes and everything in between.

 

Longmont

With its proximity to Boulder and the lower price per square foot, Longmont, which is a suburb just north of Boulder, is growing quickly. This growth is especially prevalent in Southwest Longmont, which is close to Boulder. In Downtown Longmont, you will find a number of innovative breweries and great restaurants. Choices of housing in Longmont vary greatly, so there is something for everyone!
